It's strange that having a real job basically prevents you from doing anything fun during the work-week. You're pretty much confined to getting chores and fun things done on the weekends. Boy that sucks.
Well, let's see...it's been umm...(counting on fingers and toes here) 76 days since my last post. Damn that's sad.
In the intervening time, I've gone to Europe, come back, packed up all of my worldly belongings, moved them to Murfreesboro, Tennessee (just south of Nashville), and started a new job as a computer programmer.
Lately I've been working long days (today was a mere 11.5 hours in length) and there doesn't look to be a near end to this pattern. I've also been experiencing what it means to be a "grown-up". It's strange mingling among these odd bipeds with their monetary and fiscal ways. They shall require more study.
Oh, and I'm also dating a nice girl who just happens to teach music. I met her after living here for about a week. At a party that I wasn't going to go to. There's a lesson in that for me: Always go to parties!
