Grades

The other day I was calculating what my grades are right now. You know, seeing how hard I have to work to make that 4.0. Well, I got to thinking about the 4.0 scale. It's immensely unfair! On it, you can only get an "A" by hitting that .1. Everything else is a "B". Compared to the 100 point scale, in which case if you make a 90, it's still an "A". I wonder who came up with this nightmare? A much more accurate system would be 4.0-3.1 = A, 3.0-2.1 = B, 2.0 - 1.1 = C, 1.0 - .1 = D, 0 = F. That way, you actually have some sort of range within "A".
P.S. A judge recently barred part of the Patriot Act. Very cool
